Our Story

At the heart of our store is Strong Communities Ltd, a not-for-profit social enterprise based in Central Queensland, Australia. Since 2019, we’ve been working to create empowered, connected, and thriving communities where everyone has access to support, regardless of where they live, what language they speak, or their background.

We are committed to supporting children, families, and communities through practical programs and services that make a real difference. Our work includes playgroups, parent education, community events, multicultural support, domestic violence education, and grief support. Each initiative is designed to reduce social disadvantage and promote positive change.

The community store plays a vital role in this mission. Every purchase supports our ability to deliver inclusive, accessible, and often free programs to those who need them most.
